M. Lee Balser

Lee has a Bachelors in psychology from The State University and a Masters In Education from New York University.  He has been working in the field of developmental disabilities for over 30 years.  During this time Lee has developed an expertise in working with individuals with mental retardation who have engaged in criminal activity, primarily individuals who have a history of sexually victimizing others.  Lee has presented at local, state, national and international conferences on topics related to serving this population.

Lorilee Bias

Lorilee received her degree from Columbus State Community College and has over 25 years of experience working as an interpreter and sign language instructor.  Lorilee has developed communication programs; taught social skills awareness programs and serves as a job trainer for children and adults with hearing impairments. Lorilee has worked diligently as a family advocate specializing in autism spectrum disorders. She serves as the parent advocate of several public school systems. Lorilee is the proud parent of a child with autism.

Debra D. Buccilla

Debra has a Masters Degree in Education from the Ohio State University with an emphasis on prevention and intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Deb has over 30 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in both the private and public sector.  Deb has presented locally and nationally on all aspects of service delivery to individuals with MR/DD as well as on administrative and licensure issues. As an advocate for individuals with disabilities, Deb has acted as a representative both statewide and nationally, for policy change.

Brenda L. Gerhardstein

Brenda has over 12 years experience in the Human Resources field with a strong emphasis on labor relations and personnel management.  Brenda assists with the development and implementation of personnel policy and procedure, assists with benefit management and educates on human resource law. As a consultant, Brenda assists agencies to evaluate human resource systems and develop strategic plans to address needs.

Bobby Hooper

Bobby has over 30 years of experience in the area of "life skills coaching" for individuals. Bobby specializes in program development in the areas of social skills training and job coaching. Bobby develops an excellent rapport with individuals, parents, and families and has assisted in both communities and home settings. Bobby has worked for both private and public providers and is known as a true advocate and friend to individuals with disabilities.

H. Scott Lockett

Scott has a Masters of Arts degree in School Psychology from Ohio State University.   Scott has over 25 years experience working in the public education system focusing on students with special needs. Scott’s expertise is in public education regulations and serves as an advocate for children and families.

Scott Phillips

Scott has a Masters of Science degree in Administration (MSA) from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University.  With over 14 years experience in the public sector of services to individuals with disabilities, Scott has developed policy and procedure regarding active treatment services. Scott is an advocate for individuals with disabilities and is committed to the building of strong teams through training.

Carolyn Srodek

Carolyn is a board certified nurse administrator with over 30 years in the nursing field. Carolyn has dedicated her career to best nursing practices specific to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. Carolyn has worked in both public and private health care settings as a Registered Nurse, educator and director of nursing services.
